Our sweet Sophia blessed our lives for 8 short, but wonderful months. Those of you who knew Sophia knew that her smile brightened up a room, her laughter was contagious and our love for her was immeasurable. Sophia loved smiling, laughing, rolling, clapping hands and playing with her friends. She loved people, never complaining as she bounced from one lap to the next. She enjoyed every minute of life, embracing each experience as one for an opportunity for love and laughter. She never fussed and was always so predictable. We were blessed and said this to her and to each other every night. Sophia will always be the meaning of life for us. She will never be forgotten. Rather, she will be honored every day for the never-ending joy and love she gave us. We have started the Sophia Avia Rosone Memorial Fund in loving memory of her and are planning to redirect all donations to The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, whose tireless commitment to Sophia in so many ways during the time she spent in the hospital, has changed our lives forever.

We are thankful to all of our friends, family and those of you simply taking the time to learn about Sophia, for supporting us during this time and helping us to keep Sophia's memory alive. This fund will allow us to give back to the wonderful doctors, nurses and researchers who are committed to determining the cause for our unfortunate loss. Sophia became our angel the day she came into this world and will always be our angel, watching over us.
